DJ Souq começou sua carreira em 1991, em Porto Alegre, e em sua carreira tocou em clubs como Opera Rock, Metropolis, Saigon, Bere e Ballare, Press,Fratello Beach, Dhomba e Café de La Musique, e também em eventos particulares e festas privadas por todo o estado. Depois de ter seu próprio bar, o Souq, por quatro anos na capital gaúcha, fez um tour pelo Oriente Médio, apresentando em clubes e pubs em Abu Dhabi, nos Emirados Árabes, em Beirute, no Líbano, e em Tunis, na Tunísia. Seus estilos preferidos têm batidas fortes e são cheios de energia, em particular a house music e suas mais variadas vertentes. Em 2010, iniciou um programa de rádio, Midnight Express (atualmente Paradise Garage) , que vai ao ar semanalmente nas webradios RedeBla www.redebla.net e DJSets e é dedicado ao melhor da House Music e seus diferentes estilos.
Também em 2011, começou a produzir, criando mashups de clássicos da black music e hiphop e canções pop.
DJ Souq was born in Porto Alegre (Brazil), began his career in 1991, with DJs playing the local scene, the following clubs: Opera Rock, Metropolis, Saigon, Bere and Ballare, America, Sancho Pança, Press, Fratello Beach and Dhomba, and a lot of private events and private parties throughout the state.
After four years as manager of his own nightclub (BAR ARABIC Souq) in Porto Alegre, begins a tour of the Middle East and the Gulf, performing in clubs and pubs following:
-Le Meridien Hotel - Abu Dhabi (UAE)
-Dice - Beirut (Lebanon)
-Rehab - Beirut (Lebanon)
-Kayan - Beirut (Lebanon) (resident for 3 months)
-Barcelo Carthage - Tunis (Tunisia)
His preferred styles are those who have had strong beats, full of energy, in particular the production of British label Global Underground, progressive house, electro and flash house from 90's.
Also started in 2010 his radio show, Midnight Express (now Paradise Garage), broadcasted weekly on RedeBla Webradio http://www.redebla.net and on DJSets webradio www.djsets.com.br. In this program, which presents and produces, is dedicated to the best of House Music tracks.
In 2011 started his producer career, with mashups of classics and brand new songs.
It also develops the projects Massari Project, that use midi tools, software control Traktor and Nintendo Wiimote control along with Arabic percussion and House Music.
